We want you to be able to cherish your Mahaniya pieces for years to come. Below are some tips to keep your sarees shining.

  • Before washing a cotton saree soak the saree in warm water for 20 mins with rock salt. This will prevent the saree from colour bleeding in the subsequent washes.
  • As a thumb rule, always starch cotton sarees (after wash) to ensure that they retain their crispness and stay stain-free
  • Store the saree in an airy cupboard that is devoid of humidity and direct sunlight.
  • If you want to soften the saree without removing the starch completely, then steam iron the saree. Remember to use the correct setting in your iron based on the saree fabric.
  • Dry clean is preferable for long term use.
