Ponduru khadi cotton are hand spun and hand woven by our weavers. This is one of the only place where the single spindle charkha is still used for spinning. The uniqueness of Ponduru khadi lies in the fibre – produced mainly from short staple hill variety cotton that is so pest resistant, it allows for chemical free farming! Artisans labour for days and burn the midnight oil to come up with one piece of handwoven wonder into which they have put their heart and soul.

  • While ironing, keep the iron on a low heat setting and do not use Steam.
  • Store your pieces in a Cool, Dry Place.
  • Soak and squeeze out starch before garmenting to prevent shrinkage
  • Keep your saree in a plastic cover, this will allow the saree to breathe while preventing stains.
